1. Why Register? 

Each household must register so the committe can have an idea of how many people are interested in coming to the family reunion.

2. * Required Field, what does that mean?

It means that it is important that you give this information, if you do not have an email that is ok.

3. Why do you have a committee?

This committee is to oversea all the planning of the family reunion and make sure all the information goes out to the family members.

4. Why did you ask about my passport & visa?

We need to know this because half the family members live in another country and we need to help them acquire a passport and visa to come to the US for the reunion.

5. Do I have to give my DOB?

Yes, we only need the month and date.  We want to recognise your special day.

6. Why, Areas I will Serve?

This is because we need your help to plan this reunion in other areas. Not everyone can be on the commitee and it doesn't make sense that only a few is helping to make this reunion a success.

7. Why vote on a date?

We need everyone to agree on a date. We need at least 10 votes on one date, so if we receive 10 votes on a particular date, that will be the date of the reunion.

8. Will there be other venue chosen?

At the moment Washington, DC will be the starting of the annual family reunion.  At the family reunion, we will vote on the next venue for the next family reunion, either in our birth country or in another country or a state in the US or Canada.

9.  Do I need to pay?

Yes, we cannot have a reunion without food and activities.  The committee will decide how much each household will pay.

10. Do I need hotel accommodations & transportation?

Yes and no.  Since the family reunion will start off in Washington, DC those who are living here can accommodate a few of the family members. However, priority will be given to those who are travelling to the US from our birth country.  The committee will seek out the best hotel for your price range.  We will try to rent a least 3 vans to transport the family if they don't have their own personal transportation.

11.  Can I give my ideas if I am not on the committee?

Yes, all ideas are welcome, this will not be a success if you don't participate.

12. Can I bring a friend?

Yes, but you will have to pay for them also.  All rules applies to them also.

13. Why do I need to give a theme?

We will need a theme to off-set this reunion.  This theme will be the whole focus at the reunion.
